So, whilst I was molding a concept in my head I decided to check my earnings on Nuffnang (after a year), and look at how much I've earned! Once it hits RM1000, I am going to cash out and pump it into the shop.

20th Birthday Party!

We only celebrate our birthday once a year, and it was time to celebrate mine. I turned 20 not very long ago and I just want to thank you those who wished me happy birthday and helped out at my party. I just have to say that; I have awesome friends who actually care and they have honestly touched my heart for just being there for me. You guys know who you are, I don't want to mention names because I might actually missed someone out and probably get shit for it.

So, my party was held at Sekeping Tenggiri! It's this amazing house owned by an architect, I love how urban the house is designed and I just fell in love with the place. It was the perfect place to throw my party, and here are some pictures to show you guys how awesome the house really was.

Remember when we were young, we wanted things like barbie dolls, stuffed teddy bears, pokemon cards, pokemon action figures, digimons & etc. When I was young, my mom banned me from playing with barbie dolls. My mom would buy those collection items which would cost like RM200 more or less, and I would break their head for no good reason. Haha, I was such a sadistic child.

But that was 10 years ago. So 10 years later, the things I want are much much more expensive than a RM200+ barbie doll. If only money grow on trees, I would buy everything I've been longing for right now.

Foodventure : Brownies

Faiz and I went on a Foodventure for the best brownies in KL. We had so much ball searching for it, going through the jam was so much fun. Thank the lord, it was all worth it in the end because the brownies were A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. If you have a sweet tooth, it is worth driving up to Subang to try these brownies. It seriously melts in your mouth. So, my day ended perfectly; good brownies and good company, there is nothing else you can ask for.

So I haven't exactly kept my promise that I'll blog frequently, I apologize.

But here I am taking a break from all my work load.

First and foremost, I would just like to say that, it is not easy to juggle between work and studies at the same time. It get depressing because it is even harder to balance out your social life. So a lot of things will get to you, the small little things will get to you. Mainly people who are being douches.

Secondly, I almost got robbed at the lift in Harbour Place where I work. It was the most scariest experienced I've ever encountered in my life. I had an anxiety attack afterwards. So girls, be careful wherever you go, carry a can of pepper spray in your bag. Usually these things never happen to me but it was just my luck. The experience was so traumatizing, I still can't get over it. I only told a few people because I never liked talking about stuff like this or anything bad in general, it brings you down. So please, I don't need douchebags to make my life harder than it already is.

Mind what you say because everyone is fighting a hard battle.

Friday traffic, something we Malaysians only understand.

It literally took me an hour to reach home. I swear, I wanted to just teleport back home with a switch of a button in my car. To make my ride back home worse, I had an annoying human being in the car with me. Meet my friend, Nadhir.

Lets just say, he is a very strange child.

After lots of "stay still!", "stop being a retard!", "stop biting me!" (yes, he bites) and stop this and that. He finally curled back into his imaginary shell. This car ride scarred me for life. It is so dangerous to get in a car with him, I am never getting in the car with Nadhir ever again. No offense Nadhirkins, I love you but I swear I wanted to kill you that day.

What is Urbanscapes? It is an outdoor creative art festival. Tents and stalls with live bands, arts, fashion, film, theater, food and etc. It's an event where all hipsters come together and have a great time!

Joanne was there too! Because she missed last year Urbanscapes.

Believe it or not, I actually woke up at 6am in the morning. Met up with Nabil and Farmin at 9am to convoy to Bukit Cahaya in Shah Alam for Paintball! I have to say, I may have found a sport that I actually like.

Flashback to the days when I had to wake up early to go to school, how I missed very much. Which made me realized how things back then were so much simpler than the present. I was a teenage girl with no regrets, although I wished I could have handled certain situations a little better.

Singapore!

Few weeks ago, a bunch of friends and I decided to go to Singapore for a Dubstep event. I've heard dubstep music before, and I can tell you that I don't really like it. But a bunch of my friends are getting out of the country for the weekend, so I took the opportunity to tag along.

For the first time in my life, I didn't know what to do in a club.
"How do you dance to Dubstep?!"

It's basically like doing the robot and the wave. I didn't know how to do the robot or the wave, so I headbang. I headbanged so hard, my neck was about to fall off the next day. Everyone was aching so bad from the event, we decided to take it easy the by bonding over a shisha session at Arab Street. We had dinner at Zam Zam, and oh my god I had the best Murtabak in my life! I drifted off to my happyland when I took a bite out of that heavenly piece of roti with mutton. Oh god, jizz.

Overall, I had a splendid time in Singapore with the companies. :)

It was a great trip to NYC! My very first trip without my parents around. Just the perfect getaway I needed away from KL. Soon as I touched down at JFK, I met up with my best friend Joanne!

We stayed at Murray Hill Inn. I gotta say, it is not that bad for a budget hotel. I wouldn't mind staying there again the next time I visit. The food there is amazing! They really know how to tickle your taste buds. God, I miss the food there so much! Not forgetting the fashion in New York, everyone really knows how to dress up. I'm super jealous that their cost of living there is really cheap compare to KL. Take for example; an Alexander Wang bag cost $800+ in the states, where in KL it is probably RM5000+. It is no wonder that many people in the states could afford to carry designer handbags. *roll eyes*

In the span of 6 days, Joanne and I conquered a lot in NYC. We walked across the Brooklyn Bridge, met up with our friends in NYU, shopped at Soho, Greenich Village, Times Square, 5 Avenue, watched Wicked the Musical, took a stroll down Central Park, visited the Liberty Island, Grand Central, Chinatown, Empire State Building, Queens, Brooklyn and Wall Street. Unfortunately, we didn't manage to see the World Trade Centre because we got lost in the subway for an hour. We asked for directions, but nobody seems to know how to get us there. I guess they don't go there anymore after 9/11 happened.

Okay, so not everything is bright and shiny all the time. The only thing I hated when I was in NYC is this stupid system called, "tipping". I didn't know there was such thing until this cab driver scolded me for not tipping him. Eh hello, the cab ride cost a flat rate of $45 from JFK to NYU, that is like RM135 and you expect me to tip you 10% of the total charged? Are you kidding me? That is like RM13.50! I can get another cab ride from TTDI to Bangsar.
Call me cheap, but tipping is ridiculous.

Overall I can say that, the trip was an experience I'll never forget. The trip was more exciting because I had my best friend with me. I still couldn't believe I visited one of the greatest city on earth! GAH!

Good morning lifeless people who are reading my blog.
Yes it is 7am in the morning here in Kuala Lumpur. The sky is turning lighter as I ramble through this post. I know haven't been updating my blog much and it's because I don't have the patience to sit down and write down my thoughts or recap events from the past.

For those of you who may know, I'm absolutely excited for my NY & Miami trip this week! I can't wait to party it up with Joanne & the new people I'm going to be crossing paths with in the states. I really hope to meet some nice Americans there.

I have a new goal in life.

It has been on my mind for awhile now, but I just never took it in because it was just an idea. Ever since I thought of opening an online boutique in 2008, I took it as a hobby. To my surprise, the online boutique went really well, it was a success. Then one fine day, my mom asked me if I want to open a shop and I said "why not?".

Next thing you know in early 2009, my shop was finally open at Harbour Place, Klang. Don't get me wrong, it's doing good but I don't think I'm attracting the right sort of people. I really want to expand Little McQueen and make it well-known in KL, that's like a huge dream of mine.

So, my next goal.
I want to open Little McQueen in Bangsar Village.
Please make it happen. I will make it happen. Just you wait.

The year of heartache, misery and loneliness is finally long gone and I gladly welcome 2011 with wide open arms. We partied our hearts out and just didn't give a fuck about 2010 anymore. I guess it's because everyone was so caught up with their own problems, and at some point of the year, we got tired of chasing everyone and trying to fix everything, it's when we realized that we just don't need certain people and their crap.

I wonder where will I be now without optimism. Its the only thing that keeps me going when things goes bad, because I know things will eventually get better. Well guess what? Things are looking up for me right now, because I have finally learned to let go of my past.

How was my New Years Eve? It was amazing and memorable. I wished I could have taken more pictures, but Justus tricked me into giving him my camera, so Danyal could throw me into the pool. After Justus yelled "Danyal! She's unarmed!", I immediately ran into the house, dug through my bag for my Blackberry and held on to it for dear life, like always.

What I mostly did that night was, I sat at a corner beside the pool with a bunch of friends, passing joints and got the munchies (you can see I got my nachos with me at all time). I also tried Jello Shots for the first time! I really thought it was just jelly, until someone told me to slow down and explained to me what it was.

Sigh, I wish I could go back to yesterday again.
Cheers to a new year, and another chance for us to make it right.

December has been good to me.
I'm pretty glad that I had a good Christmas this year.

We celebrated Christmas Eve at Baan 27, Changkat. It was a long night. I ended up going back at 6am in the morning, but it was so worth it. Before Changkat I met up with 2 of my favourite boys, Matin & Mateen. It was good meeting up with them. :)

Then on Christmas Day, I celebrated at an uncle's Christmas party. The house was HUGE. When I say HUGE, my whole entire house is ONLY the size of their lounge. (sigh) If only I could live in a house like that. Anyways, the hospitality was great. There were free flow of alcohol, loads of food to feed like 100guests, we played drinking games and I kept getting bullied by kids (but that's not the point). The point is, it was a good party.

So, my night pretty much ended up like this.

7atenine!

My weekend has been amazing.

What made it much more amazing was that I got to dine at 7atenine, the Ascott Kuala Lumpur for free! Sponsored by my boss of course.

So let me give you a brief introduction about 7atenine. It is a restaurant/bar smacked down in the heart of KL. The concept of 7atenine is very modern, the room gives off a very chilled vibe and the restaurant is surrounded by glass so you can view the twin towers from the inside. There is also an upper deck where sometimes functions are held, so if you're looking for a venue for a celebration, 7atenine is the place to be and ...you'll never know who you'll meet.

Music obviously plays a big part in our social life. If you're into House music, 7atenine plays House music everyday, except for Saturday as they will have live jazz performances. If you didn't notice, everyone was wearing white that night because Saturday is a "White Nite".

So lets move on to my dinner shall we? The dinner I had was a buffet, there was unlimited carvery & salad @ only RM57++. The buffet only happens every Saturday, from 7.30pm till 9.30pm. So while having your meal, you get to sit back and enjoy live jazz performances.

Drink : Watermelon Magic Mocktail (highly recommended!)
Food : Salmon puff, fried potatoes, salad with mushroom dressing.

It was so delicious, I was savouring its every flavour.

Overall, it's one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. In fact, I'll be going back there this Saturday with Mateen. We're suckers for really good food. So, if you're there give me an holler. :)

After a wishful longing for a new digital camera, I finally got it!
The camera was supposed to be my Christmas gift this year, but I begged my mom to get it earlier for me as I need it for 'working purposes'. Obviously I left out the part about camwhoring and taking dirty pictures of myself (jaykay!) Hehehe.

I'm loving my Canon IXUS 210 so much, that if there's a single scratch on my baby, I'll cry a rainstorm. So imagine if I actually lose it (touch wood), I'll go mental.

So here are some pictures that I took:-

Maybe the pictures are not as great as they appear on my post due to low-resolution upload on blogspot. Nevertheless, the camera is brilliant. It has 14.1 megapixels so the pictures are super clear like HD clear, 5x optical zoom, 24mm wide angle camera so that you can take breathtaking landscape pictures and it's touch screen! What more can you ask for from a camera?

When all handphone and computer fails, a camera saves the day.

Carpe Diem

Finally, the year 2010 is coming to an end and honestly I'm quite glad.

Overall, 2010 has been a rough year for me compare to the year before. I built my life around someone else because of love. I've learned my lesson to never do that ever again. Pieces of me were scattered all over the place, I've made bad decisions and let my emotions get the better of me. I was a wreck. I've never had such a hard time dealing with life before.

But as the year is coming to an end, life is starting to be kinder to me now. I've made new friends which kept me smiling and I'm starting to find confidence in myself to go out into the world. I'm finally moving on and I'm ready to take whatever that comes. I'm not going to hope for anything anymore and just let fate decide for me.

2011, bring it on! I'm so ready to kick ass.
It is going to be my year.

I love twitter. I love the whole idea of twitter.
More reason to why I love twitter, a few months back, I found this job through twitter. To be a fashion writer for After 10 magazine. I wrote an article for last October Issue and I haven't had the chance to read it on the magazine after 2 weeks it was published.

So, one fine Thursday night, the ex-cempakens decided to meet up for dinner at Meatworks, Solaris. Naim came along too, I haven't seen him for ages! We had so much catching up to do, our mouth just wouldn't shut.

So after dinner, we went upstairs to the bar and played pool. I was leaning against the table, and I looked across the room, I saw a man reading the October Issue of After 10! HOMG. I freaked! I was so excited that I finally got the chance to read my own article after 2 weeks! It was a 4 page spread of Men and Women Fall 2010, Versace Collection. So duh, pictures have to be taken. :P

I enjoy doing a lot of things really. One of it would be, decorating my room, the picture shown above is my room by the way. That dark blue chiffon cloth hanging on my ceiling is supposed to give that night sky effect but I fail to stick it on my ceiling because it keeps falling down. So now it's just hanging there and I use it to count sheeps before I go to bed.

Other than that, I enjoy reading a really good book, I enjoy spending quality time with my friends. I enjoy futsal. I enjoy L4D2. I enjoy making something from scratch, like a shirt, vase, card, food & etc. I enjoy working for my boutique, Little McQueen. I enjoy photography. I enjoy being a fashion writer for "after 10" magazine. I enjoy being treated like a woman every once in awhile, not all the time, that's just plain annoying.

My last school trip was back in Cempaka. Cempaka Silver Expedition at Pulau Perhentian. If I'm not mistaken, I think this was back in Year 10. Whatever year it is, we're certified divers yo.

Hahaha, this picture was ages ago. Like, 4 years ago? Yes, I started drinking when I was at the age of 15. This was a picture of me binge drinking for the first time at Rains @ Desa Sri Hartamas, and the most probably the only time I was that smashed. Out of control dancing, having sucha fantastic time with friends, drinks and next thing you know I'm like this..

Don't you just love technologies? I love how 3D is already in our cinemas, the image, effects and improve in sound surround system are unbelievable brilliant. I'm pretty happy about the fact that Resident Evil was in 3D, I've always been a Resident Evil fan. I'm quite glad there's no happy ending to this sequel, which means, more Resident Evil!

I gotta say, Step Up 3D is probably one of the best dancing movies I've ever seen in a very long time after You've Got Served. It's definitely a movie worth watching. It's super creative, bunch of talented dancers, really brilliantly choreographed and Moose is really cute with his long curly hair and I love his character!

Transformers has always been my all time favourite too. I wonder if they're making another movie in 3D, I sure do hope so! It would be epic! Plus, I will watch anything that's starring Shia LaBeouf. He's a great actor, he's really lucky to be starring in so many brilliant movies.

As some of you who may know, I am not exactly a festivist when it comes to Chinese New Year or Hari Raya. Especially Chinese New Year, I hate gatherings with my chinese aunts and uncles and I don't really care about the angpaos or the meaning of giving and receiving them (it's a load of bull really). Which probably means if I had to marry a chinese fella, we're going to have a problem. BUT, I do look forward to the Prosperity Burger at McD during Chinese New Year. ;P

Anyways, I suddenly got into the Hari Raya mood last night at 3am in the morning when I woke up from my 6 hours nap/sleep. Matin was nice enough to BBM me a Hari Raya message, it was probably the most sincere and touching message I've ever gotten in a very long time. If he said it face-to-face, I would most probably hug him, cry and never ever let go. I'm glad the past is all behind us, and we have learned our lesson. I'm glad I still have you as my friend.

So today, I went to Hazrul's open house. All I can say is that Rendang was gooood.

I honestly can't choose between these two bands, because they're both equally awesome. Beatles has conquered the charts in the 60s and sold over a Billion records! That's a Billion with a B. There's no group that has ever ever accomplished that, and most probably never will because they're just that hands-down awesome.

New Polaroid Camera!

As most of you know, I got a new Polaroid Camera! It's a Fuji Instax 210. It took me awhile to decide which to buy, it was a choice between Fuji Instax Mini 7 and Fuji Instax 210. Reason why I bought this one instead of the smaller version, Fuji Instax Mini 7 is because I like the size of the developed film, it's wide unlike the Mini 7, it's long and small.
Here are the only two pictures I've taken so far. I don't want to waste my precious films, because one pack of film (contains 10 films) cost about RM36 (rounding up, that's RM4 per film!). And just so you know, apparently the Fujifilm suppliers are going to have a shortage in films soon, thus there'll be an inflation in price . Better get your hands on those films before it happens!

Today has just been as indulgent and relaxing as I had hoped. It started early morning in the morning, I found out that Spain won last night game. I've never felt so much joy and victory in a very long time.

Diana came over and we baked Blueberry Cookies. An absolutely productive and scrumptious sunny afternoon. The smell of cookies baking in the oven, the taste of cookie dough I love so much. These cookies are pretty easy to make, not like any other cookies I've made before.

I need to make more Blueberry Cookies!

Prom 2010

So for those of you who knows, I had my prom was last week Thursday, 1st July 2010. It was held at Renaissance Hotel. The longest prom night I've ever went for, it ended at 12.30am,and I didn't exactly like any of the performance except for Harith Iskandar stand up comedy. It was hilarious, couldn't stop laughing out loud. At least it was better than last years prom, in sense of performances, food and venue. Overall, it was a good prom night with my lads in A54. :)

So after prom, we went over to Maisons to party up til 3am.
We formed a circle and sang to "You are not alone" by Michael Jackson. One of our very emotional moments together, for me at least.

When we went back to the hotel, there were 5 bottles of alcohol waiting for us. So, looking at that situation, I only had 3 hours of sleep, thanks to all my lovely friends puking in the toilet bowl countless times. :)

Supposedly you would think Renaissance is a 5 star hotel, I would give it a 4 star.

KL Urbanscapes 2010

I just got back from a long day at KL Urbanscapes @ KLPac. It was pretty happening, much better than last year. I have to say the only thing I enjoyed there was the Blended Pearl Milk Tea, the funky artsy stuff, the awesome company and maybe a bit of the heat to prep me for.. Summer!

I didn't take much photos because my camera was in Rashaad's bag most of the time, as I didn't want to carry it because I was all sweaty, but here you go! :)

Chapter 1

When we were twelve, the coolest thing to do were the things your parents wouldn't let you do. Things like, have sex, watch South Park, go to the drive-in, smoke cigarettes, and hang out with your friends outside of school. Emily was never that type of kid to disobey her parents. There was no one like Emily, all the kids in school were rebels. She was always in her own little world, when it was time for recess she would sit at her little corner of the playground taking a bite out of her lunch and stare into the cloudy blue sky over her head. Kids in her school thought she was psychotic, so they always stayed ten feet away from her.

As Emily grew up to be fifteen, she finally came out from her shell. She found friends she could click with for a lifetime and being a typical fifteen year old girl as she was, she always dreamed of a prince charming to sweep her off her feet.

In Year 9, Emily never had so much fun in school in her life. Though school times can be very theatrical, it's still all good for Emily. It doesn't bother her at all, but sometimes she wonders why all these drama happen. She guessed it was to give people something to talk about and keep them entertained, but she wasn't entertained at all. However, despite all the drama she had to go through, she finally graduated from high school.

Like all high school students at seventeen, comes out feeling dazed and confused with what they plan to do in college. Emily didn't bother, and took whatever that came her way but this time she was hoping to finally fit in.

As the day comes closer, the excitement build within Emily was ecstatic. She would sing songs that would make flowers dance, bust a move that would put an end to Israel-Gaza Conflict and she would put this amazing smile like it's as if the whole world is smiling with her. This feeling she exaggerates in her own little world but one thing is for sure, she is finally growing up and there is no turning back.

The chapter of my college life is finally coming to an end. It has been 2 years, and I've tolerated the constant every 6 months exam, the entire student body which I felt very much out of place, the unwanted heartbreaks, and last but not least the parents.

Throughout these tolerations, it has been a learning progress. I've learned to let go a lot of unwanted feelings, realized who my true friends are, which priority comes first and a whole list which I am going to keep to myself. Though of course, it's going to take awhile for me to adapt to my new list.

Soon when I'm finished with my finals, I am done with burning the midnight oil and buying collagen eye mask to reduce my eyebags. It's aggravating, not to mention a waste of my allowance. There were even times when I swore on violation of human rights, when there was just not enough coffee in the world to keep me awake, which was tremendously a pain in the ass.

However, I would like to make it clear that, there were good times in college, they were not always awful. I will definitely miss the bus ride coming back and forth, chilling sessions at mamak stalls, skiving classes every morning and playing pool at spinky. I might have missed out a few more pros, but overall college wasn't too bad. I will definitely miss it.

The point is, I'm glad this chapter is finally going to end with a bang at prom. Although I'm not sure what is going to happen after this chapter is closed.

Hopefully something good.

Christmas Open House

So, I had a Christmas Open House before Christmas Eve, because all my christian friends will be busy on eve and christmas day itself. We played Secret Santa, so I told everyone to get a present worth at least RM20. Open House was a success!

Another Brick In The Wall

I've always been concerned with my weight. I'm just like any other girl who goes on complaining about their weight. It also helps that I have a boyfriend that keeps telling me, if I ever become fat to the point where when I sit on him and he couldn't breath is the day where he breaks up with me.

For those who don't know, there're no shortcuts to losing weight. You gotta do the running, the walking and the sweating. But whilst doing all that, you gotta maintain a balance with what you eat. Therefore, to lose weight, reduce the amount of calories you eat and increase your levels of activity.

What to eat and what not to eat?

Everyday, your body energy needs at least 1500 calories. If you eat more than your body needs for daily activities, you will gain weight. Like, eating before you sleep. You shouldn't eat before you sleep because when you go straight to bed with all that food in your stomach, it will not have time to digest, therefore it'll all go straight to fats.

Reduce eating rice, noodles, bread, cheese, eggs & etc.
Start eating wholegrain bread, fruits and vegetables.
Replace fizzy drinks with water & fresh juice.
Have smaller portions of food you enjoy.
Cut down on beer and alcohol. (that's how guys get beer belly)
Stop doing weed.
Swap whole milk for skimmed.

How do you start?

Start by going for one jog and start eating less for your meals. Everyday, go for a walk for at least 45 minutes to burn all necessary fats in the food you had. You could always take up Rock Climbing, Dancing Classes or Aerobic Classes to help you through the process.

As for me, I hate milk, cheese & butter. I don't do drugs, I'm allergic to alcohol and I don't smoke. That helped a lot. My problem is craving for snacks in the middle of the night & I'm just lazy. I'm now a Size 4, if I drop to a Size 2, that's when I'll post about my achievement.

So, I decided to cut my hair. Been wanting to chop it off for a really long time, and here it is! Side parting, fringe, shoulder length hair, layered of course. Malaysia International Fashion Week

So as you know, Fashion Week was at Pavillion this year. I was invited personally by one of the designers, named Oscar Ng. He was the one that designed my prom dress. I was such an idiot, I turned it down because I thought I might be doing something on that day.

However..

Gagan got me VIP tickets for my birthday (I've got such nice friends). We were at One Utama at first, we watched Jennifer's Body with Andre. Megan Fox was so hot when she made out with Amanda Seyfried(from Mean Girls). Adam Brody(from the OC) got his gothic look going on there, but I prefer him on the OC, I like my smart boys. ;)

As you can tell, Gagan was driving in the middle of two lane. He's cool like that.

I only took a few pictures, I was paying more attention to the runway than my camera.
Don't you think the model on the left is gorgeous? He's wearing Stud's Design and the right model is wearing Key Ng.

I Can't Keep My Hands Out The Cookie Jar

So, obviously you've noticed a change in the layout and the URL. I'm very fickle minded and a perfectionist, everything needs to be perfect and well organized. That's how I live with myself.

Anyhoo, it was a rainy day, I couldn't get any studying done, so I decided to bake some Chocolate Chip Cookies! Who doesn't love cookies? If Cookie Monster love cookies, we gotta love them too. :)

The weather was freezing, whilst making the cookies, the kitchen was warm as an igloo. (you get what I mean)

I just love staring into the oven when my creation is getting big, round and solid.

Who knew the oven would be a nice place to camwhore? :)

On the side note, I'll be getting myself a new DSLR by end of this year hopefully, depending on Little McQueen earnings. I have no idea what to get. My dream DSLR now would be a Canon EOS 5D. I decided to not to get Nikon anymore, the colours are too vivid for my liking.

Nicole was the only redhead at prom, so it was really easy to find her in the crowd.

The theme was called Vogue.
So the whole night, we had this amazing dinner. Hosts for the night were Henry Golding & Sarah Lian. Performance were very good too, they had a fashion show I think (I was late), they also hired a stand-up comedian. Lastly, Reshmonu performed for the closing show.
We all had free entry to MOS, using our prom ticket as the entry ticket. ;)

Daddy got the family a mini audio system today, a famous brand called Bose.
Apparently it's one of the best audio system in the world.
As I put in Aerosmith's CD, I sit back and close my eyes, volume blast at 80, it's like listening to it live right in front of me. Brilliant.

Meet Boys Likes Girls

I'm sure you all know the band that sang Love Drunk, The Great Escape, Thunder and my personal favourite Dance Hall Drug. I'm super lucky enough to have met Boys Like Girls in person without the thousand of fans going gaga over them.

So this happened few days before World Stage when Diana decided to chill outside Coco Banana for a smoke while waiting for Raoul 'aka' One Buck Short guitarist to finish up some interview. With her surprise, she saw Paul Digiovanni coming out from Coco Banana to have a smoke outside too! She went all starstruck on him to me on the phone. I used to be a big Boys Like Girls fan in Year 11, I remember I used to go crazy drumming to Dance Hall Drug.
Coming back to the present, they had a private interview at Coco Banana that no one knew about. So lucky for us, we got to chat and went all gaga on them. We also met some fly.fm DJs, I interviewed Hunny Madu for my LAN Video Presentation.

I've spent the whole day with Saskia today, she just got back from London. Hell, I missed her so much. I missed the times where we would go to have a smoke under the staircase, got a monitor report card for skipping 30 minutes of class talking in the girls bathroom, pissed prefects off & called ourselves the "Eurasian Gang" with Diana & Kara together. But that was all high school, we move on, and I wouldn't be who I am now if you weren't in my life. Come back soon you English Rempit.

If you're wondering why don't I act like a girl sometimes(okay, at most times), Saskia is the main reason.

Don't you just love Flea Markets? Because I do very much. I went to one today and am adoring my leather pants, my angel ring and a hippie band which I bought. I can never find a ring that fits me, they're always too big for my skeleton fingers and there are so many awesome rings I've come acrossed! It's frustrating.

I need to do something about my old jeans. I think I'm going to start ripping my jeans, they're too loose.

Naekole bought me a chain necklace from Aussie, I love it!

It's been long since I've actually written about anything here. My month sure has been productive, really productive and really amusing. The epic adventure of finding eggs at random night markets to bake a cake for our very dear Jasmine, road blocks when driving without a license, participating in The ThreadZoo's Warehouse Bazaar @ MIST Club, attending a Cempaka's FAME Production, reunion with the seniors, sleepover at Mateen's, TV series galore, late night calls & endless emailing with Mateen from India and just endless emails with Johnny 'cause my phone bill went up to RM400+ (mama dearest shall not know about this). What a month, I'm exhausted.

At the end of the day, when it comes down to it, all we really want is to be close to somebody. So this thing, where we all keep our distance and pretend not to care about each other, is usually a load of bull. So we pick and choose who we want to remain close to, and once we've chosen those people, we tend to stick close by. No matter how much we hurt them, the people that are still with you at the end of the day, those are the ones worth keeping. And sure, sometimes close can be too close. But sometimes, that invasion of personal space, it can be exactly what you need.
